Company History

From starting out as a Sole Trader in 2012, VMS has been growing and developing at an unstoppable rate. Ian, our director, began on his own with one van, and continued to strengthen the connections he had built from many years in the industry of heavy machinery.

From there, he expanded with more mechanics in the field service division until he began introducing work on Trucks and trailers into the workshop in 2017.

At present, we are continuously strengthening our existing client relationships with major transport companies, port facilities and container management companies, through our dedication, hard work and client-based approach.

In the future, we hope to have extensively expanded our client base and progress within the industry, whilst still retaining wholesome values within the company.

Meet The Family!

Ian Frost - Director

Ian has had many years experience in the industry, starting out as an apprentice for Tarmac in the UK in 1979. Since then, he has worked for various companies in the UK, and was offered the opportunity of a lifetime in 2008 to emigrate to Australia
based on his skills and knowledge surrounding heavy machinery.
Ian then moved his family to Australia and began expanding his skills and knowledge even further. Then in 2012, he took the leap of faith to open VMS as a sole trader. The business has been growing from strength to strength over its 10-year term.
Wendy Frost - Office Manager

As Ian's wife, Wendy has stood by his side through all the trials and tribulations of starting a business, and been there every step of the way. She took on a full time role at VMS in 2015, responsible for all aspects of administration.
She is a vital part of the company, as she pays the bills and wages!
Wendy now manages the accounts department and ensures that we are always in line when it comes to financials.

Emma Frost - Purchasing Manager

Emma has had an array of different positions, both within the company overtime and externally. However, she made the decision to return to the family business and is thriving.
Emma is an important part of the company, ensuring that all things purchasing related, is ticking along smoothly.
